WHAT WE DO
When Internationally award-winning celebrity colourist, hair extension queen, and Showpony educator, Jess Barrow created Gold Society, she envisioned a space where people would come together for not only banging hot hair but to be educated and inspired. Where clients could expect to be queens for a while in an unpretentious and super fun salon.
With over 20 years of experience in the industry – don’t start trying to guess her age – she is on a mission to morph the game. She has experienced the industry all over the globe, from Pairs and the UK to Russia, New York to Singapore and NZ. Picture a tribe of the best in the business… the cre’me de la cre’me, creating the latest in high fashion colour and style. That is her squad and they’re unstoppable.
With Jess being an exclusive Wella Color Expert, and Passionista, Gold Society has fast grown a reputation in both the industry and on the streets for Corrective colour work, poppin’ blondes, the incredible miracle weft extensions, which the team are the most experienced in the Shire for this incredibly undetectable service, and for transforming their clients hair into only what dreams are made of!
They are basically hair dream-weavers. But it’s not just about looks – It’s about doing right by the Earth. These babes are all about the sustainable stuff. Oh God…. Too many to mention!! I did have an undercut mullet once upon a time!

Summer – Aperol Spritz, and in Winter an Amaretto Sour with a dash of whisky!

With over 15 years experience Rochelle has seen and done it all in the hair world. Constantly evolving and broadening her talent and knowledge through training, she is extremely experienced in all things hair. Her gentle and soft spoken approach with her clients creates a calm and confident experience. She is meticulous in everything she does and seriously has the midas touch!!

Gold Society born and bred, Claire is honest and to the point when working with clients to create their dream hair. Trained by Jess from the beginning, beautiful natural colours and effortless hair is where her talents shine! - A little known fact is she also shines on camera after embarking on her film career!

Cutting my hair short….it just takes SO long to grow. AND saying yes to an orange conditioner that took MONTHS to come out!
